On the Catwalk
On October 26th, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Rise to the Runway Fashion Awards, proudly showcasing my designs under the Country of Origin section.
The evening was filled with elegance, creativity, and an inspiring atmosphere as talented models and an amazing group of girls brought the runway to life. While I was a bit disappointed that two of my outfits weren’t fitted correctly to the models, it was a valuable learning experience and a reminder of the challenges that come with live fashion shows. Despite this, the event was a beautiful celebration of design and innovation, and I’m grateful to have been part of such a memorable occasion.

Rise To The Runway

Milan Fashion Week
In September 2024, I embarked on an incredible journey to Milan, Italy, with my sister, cousin and nephew.
The purpose of this trip was a dream come true: to showcase my fashion designs on the runway at the prestigious Flying Solo Fashion Show, held at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel.
My designs were featured in the junior section and presented in Show B, marking a significant milestone in my career. Being part of such a celebrated event and sharing this experience with my family made it an unforgettable chapter in my journey as a designer.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my creative vision with an international audience on such a grand stage.

Toowoomba Fashion Festival
Witnessing my Kasch Fashion Designs grace the runway at the Queensland Arts & Fashion Festival this May 2024 was an exhilarating experience. Seeing my creations come to life in such a prestigious event filled me with immense pride and joy. Each piece, carefully crafted with passion and attention to detail, embodied my vision and was beautifully showcased.
What made this moment even more special was the use of African Java print fabric in most of the dresses. The vibrant and unique patterns of the Java print added a distinct flair to my designs, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and artistry of Africa.
The models wearing these outfits brought them to life with grace and elegance, enhancing the beauty of each piece. The excitement of sharing these stunning, colorful creations with a captivated audience made this moment truly unforgettable.
